Jeff and Cheyenne met in our high school biology class, and we were fast friends. We bonded over books, music, and, yes, dissecting a fetal pig. After year of friendship and misadventures, Jeff asked Cheyenne to our high school formal - as friends, of course. About a week later, we finally started dating. We have been so fortunate to have then gone to college together, both as education majors at Augustana University. Even though we've gone through both triumphs and challenges over the years, one thing has remained - we are each other's best friends, and we can't wait to spend forever together.

Jeff asked Cheyenne to spend forever with him on February 22, 2017 after 4 years of dating. Jeff brought Cheyenne to Falls Park on an unseasonably warm day in February and popped the question at our favorite duck-watching spot. The Falls have played a large part in our relationship, as it was the spot of many first dates and where we fell in love. Jeff wanted a spot where we could always return to and maybe bring our future family. We are so happy that this beautiful outdoors spot and the heart of Sioux Falls will always play a big role in our marriage.
