Brophy Chapel Capacity

Answer

Unfortunately, capacity is limited in the chapel due to COVID precautions. For now we will keep guests limited to the bridal party and family, but will contact you directly if we can accommodate more!

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We will have a separate, nearby kids room outside of the reception hall where kids can stay if you cannot find a sitter. Please let us know if you are bringing them so that we can arrange for child care and dinner. We will be hiring nannies that are CPR certified.

May I bring a plus 1?

Answer

Those that are listed under the RSVP section are those we have planned on attending. We wish to limit any other additional guests in light of the ongoing pandemic.

What COVID precautions are you taking?

Answer

We have a very large ball room that is appropriate for distancing. Precautions we will be taking include several hand sanitizer stations available throughout the event, using larger tables and limiting guest seating to 6 per table during the reception, having a larger dance floor, and of course wearing your mask! Hopefully by this time, a majority of guests have been vaccinated!

Do we have to wear masks?

Answer

We would love it if you could all come but we want to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Please if you are not eating, drinking, or holding your breath while taking a photo, keep your mask on as much as possible. Please, please, please, if you are not feeling well, keep yourself and others safe and do not attend. We can greet your over Zoom or Facetime!

How hot will it be?

Answer

The last three years have been HOT! 2019 seems to be an outlier (lows in the 60s and highs in the mid 90s), but 2020 and 2018 had lows in the 70s and highs near 110. Please stay hydrated, especially if you are traveling to AZ. Maybe we will get lucky in 2021 and the weather will be cooler like in 2019, but be prepared to break a sweat standing outside!

Where do I park?

Answer

You can use valet at the main lobby, however the reception is a bit of a walk using this option. You can also continue driving forward past the valet and get a ticket to enter the parking lot. Make sure to get your tickets validated before you leave.
