Travel Note
When traveling to our wedding, please remember that there are 4 seasons in Idaho: Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter, and Road Construction! While we probably won't see any snow in the middle of August, you will see construction everywhere you look! Check your route for extended closures before you travel. There construction on the Weiser River Bridge with a 1hr+ detour off HWY95. Vehicles 40' length will not be allowed to travel the detour. 12' width restriction on all Hwy 95. As of Sunday, 8/11, there has been a mud slide which they are working to clear. It currently is slowly passable by 1 lane and a pilot car. For those traveling from Washington, the route through Lewiston is quicker than through Baker City, especially with the bridge closure. However, check for conditions on the mud slide. For those traveling from NV/CA, access Donnelly/McCall via Hwy 55 rather than Hwy 95. (Besides, it is WAY prettier!)
Travel Note
Don't forget: August, err- "Dirty August" is the height of fire season in Idaho! Last year every way in and out of our little mountain town was shut down for a couple days due to multiple fires! We often have travel closures due to fires, but they will often open at scheduled times with a pilot car escort. Check in before you travel, to ensure you'll have a smooth trip.

Ohhhh Johnny Prompt was the one and only reason that Nick decided to speak to Molly on the night they met! How can you pass that up?? Prompt runs primarily around McCall but he will take you on a Boise airport run and back, if you schedule ahead of time. He may even run ya out to Donnelly and back... If you schedule ahead of time. Busy McCall summer bar nights occupy John's time. He may have another guy running around in another vehicle- he may not. Be understanding. It may be difficult to find a ride... Just ask Nick!!! Flight
Our reception will be in Donnelly, Idaho which is about 90 miles (2-2.5 hours) north of Boise and 12 miles (20 minutes) south of McCall. If you're flying, you'll need to land at the Boise Airport and rent a car to make the trip. (Prompt and Tony's Taxi are local drivers who will make the drive with enough notice, but they charge more than $250/trip one way. See above for their contact information.)
Flight
McCall does have a local airport, which is home to a few smaller, backcountry flight companies. You may catch a flight from Boise to McCall, if this suits your fancy. McCall Auto Club is your only option for a rental vehicle from the McCall airport.
Rental Car
If you decide to fly into the McCall Airport, McCall Auto Club will be your go-to for a rental car! You will need to arrange this in advance.
Travel Note
I've included a few local options for tent and RV camping in town. There are a few smaller RV parks, and RV parking available, as well as tent camping sites on Lake Cascade, near the Donnelly Boat Docks. Take a peak at what I've included in the next options, but also consider a Google search for nearby private and state camping. (The Forest Service options around here will be further out outside of town, likely without cell reception. If you'd like to consider that as an option, please visit Recreation.gov.)
Hotel
This is 0.4mi from our house, 1 min drive, 11 min walk. Right downtown Donnelly. An older resort, but clean and well maintained, with easy access to wedding events.

There is RV and tent camping available on the west side of Lake Cascade in Donnelly, ID, near Tamarack Resort. Look for the following campgrounds: Huckleberry, Buttercup, West Mountain, and Poison Creek. Osprey Point will still be nice, and on the lake, but it is past Tamarack, so you're just getting a bit further away. These are nice RV spots, as they are right on the lake- great views and beautiful sunsets! Reservations for stays within Idaho's State Parks can be made toll-free by phone at: 1-888-922-6743 (Agents are available 7 days a week, Monday-Friday from 8:00am - 7:00pm mountain time Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 5:00pm mountain time.)
