What can I expect weather-wise?

June in Vermont brings a wide variety of temperatures. An excellent plan would be to layer - if you want to wear a tank top, make sure you also have a sweater. Equally important is the prevalence of mosquitos. We do have mosquitos in Vermont, and they will bite. I'd urge you to stay away from scented soaps/hair products, perfumes, or anything that will draw the bugs to you.

Is there cell phone service near you?

Answer

The short answer is no. Don't plan on relying on your cell phone for GPS, Instagram, or anything else! If you're one of the lucky few that gets a little reception, it'll still be spotty at best.

No, sorry! We love to rough it out here in the mountains of Vermont.

Should I be worried about wolves or bears or mountain lions?

Answer

No, we've paid the neighborhood kids to stand guard around the perimeter of the land. You should be fine.
