Starting in May 2025, a Real ID or a valid passport is required to fly in the United States (alternative options are in the link below). You WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FLY if you do not have one of these options. The DMVs are booking up with appointments for the Real ID. If you're having trouble getting an appointment, try smaller cities such as Mount Airy, NC. You cannot get a Real ID via online only. You have to bring your birth certificate to the DMV to get a Real ID. All main festivities will take place Brenner's on the Bayou in Houston, Texas. The wedding ceremony will be located at the gazebo in front of the venue. A cocktail hour with light bites will follow shortly after the ceremony. We will finish the celebration with a seated dinner and open bar. Optional: For those that wish to join us, we will have a nightcap at the Omni Hotel where drinks and snacks will be available for purchase (as capacity at the hotel allows).
The dress code is cocktail. Note that Houston in October averages around 70-80 degrees. He should wear: Slacks and a nice button up shirt (jackets and ties optional but preferred) She should wear: A nice cocktail dress, dressy pant suit, or chic trousers and top.
The ceremony will start promptly at 5pm. Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.
For those staying at the Omni Hotel, we will have a shuttle taking guests to and from the hotel/venue. For those not utilizing the hotel shuttle, you will use the valet services at Brenner's at no charge (just tell the valet you are attending the Chapa wedding).
