Both Alex and Josh have an avid hobby of playing video games. Who knew a lifelong passion for games would lead to meeting the love of their lives? Josh lived in Houston, TX. Alex lived in Kernersville, NC. Through mutual friends, it was destined for the two to meet while playing an online first person shooter (the most romantic of games, right?). After a couple weeks of playing with the group, the two began branching off to play games together. Early on, the term "Home is Where the Heart Is" became a tagline of sorts and the relationship grew. The next 3 years held numerous trips back and forth, a literal pandemic (not ideal for a long distance relationship), and countless phone calls and Facetimes. They perfected the art of doing household chores, grocery shopping, watching movies, and playing games while on the phone. Fast forward to current day and the two are happy to finally be on one place, and look forward to celebrating their future and marriage with you all!
