The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden
Sitting in the picturesque setting of White Rock Lake, the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden will delight any out of town visitor. Explore 66 acres of plush greenery with unique and beautiful plants in a serene setting. Enjoy nature and beauty while learning about the seasonal displays of flowers. Great place to visit for gorgeous photos! It's hot outside, bring some sunscreen and plenty of water. May need to reserve tickets!
The Dallas World Aquarium
Located in the historic West End district of Dallas, the Dallas World Aquarium offers fun for the whole family. You can check out animals – both land and sea – from Borneo, Fiji, Japan, South Africa and more! Don’t miss the manatees on the bottom floor or the leopard in the Ancient Mayan exhibit. George W. Bush Presidential Center
The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum is the 13th Presidential Library administered by the National Archives and Records Administration. Some of the highlights of the museum include A Nation Under Attack exploring 9/11 and its aftermath, the interactive Decision Points Theater, a full-size replica of the White House Oval Office and more. Klyde Warren Park

Perot Museum of Nature and Science
You don’t have to be a science fan to enjoy the Perot Museum of Nature and Science. All curious minds will love the range of exhibits in the 180,000 sqft museum. Learn about the stars and planets, dinosaurs, sports physiology or have fun exploring in the Children’s Museum complete with Dallas skyline. River Ranch at Texas Horse Park
Release your inner cowboy or cowgirl and hit the trails at River Ranch – a 600-acre equestrian facility minutes from Downtown Dallas. Wednesday through Monday the ranch offers guided horseback rides through the Great Trinity Forest for ages nine and older. Younger children can go on hand-guided pony rides around the arena. Hours: Open year-round; Closed on Tuesdays Cost: $40-60 for trail rides
Reunion Tower
They say everything’s bigger in Texas. See Dallas as you’ve never seen it before up 470 feet in the area on the GeO-Deck where the views are as big and wide as is fitting for this state. Southfork Ranch
No visit to DFW is complete without visiting the legendary Southfork Ranch. Your guests will see where “Dallas” was filmed and experience life as the Ewings did.
