Do we need to bring sheets and bedding if we are staying at Camp Jorn? Pillows?

Answer

Yes. If you are staying at the camp you will need to provide your own bedding. This includes sheets, blankets, and a pillow.

Does Camp Jorn provided towels?

Answer

No. Please bring your own towels for showering and the lake!

Where do we park at Camp Jorn?

Answer

There is a small parking lot in front of the main lodge of the camp. If there is room you are welcome to park there. Otherwise there will be a sign posted in the driveway of the camp where overflow parking is available. If you are staying at an offsite hotel, we recommend using the provided shuttle bus to allow for more parking options for guests that need to drive.

I have food restrictions, what is dinner going to be like and how do I let you know?

Answer

We will be having a buffet dinner at our reception that will include: beef burger bar, bone-in chicken, potatoes, baked beans, coleslaw, fresh garden salad. Appetizer of meat and cheese platters. Dessert of a milk and cookie bar. Our gluten free and vegetarian option will be a stuffed bell pepper. Please let us know via the comments section of our RSVP page if you have any additional food restrictions and requests.

Is smoking allowed at Camp Jorn?

Answer

No. If there are cigarette or cigar remnants found at camp there will be a fee applied. Please be respectful of the YMCA Camp environment!

Are dogs or other animals allowed at Camp Jorn?

Answer

No. Plan ahead and find a loving friend or family member to take care of Fido while you are away!

Question

Do we need to bring shampoo and conditioner to camp?

Answer

Yes. The camp does not provide shower toiletries.
