THE PROPOSAL.
October 12, 2022
We were in my hometown in Mexico for two weeks visiting my family. That day, we had to run some errands with my mom and later my nina (godmother) was making my favorite Mexican dish for lunch: cochinita pibil. After this incredible lunch, I had the best nap ever on the couch. Around 5pm, I woke up to my cousin Lorenia and her husband (Javier) asking if we were ready to go to the beach. We had planned to go because Javier wanted to practice using Henrique's drone since he also "wanted to buy one", *lies*.  Anyway, the four of us went to the beach and we were just hanging out and walking along the beach when Henrique proposed!!! I cried a lot, of course. Then, I said yes!!! It was really sweet because my cousin had set up a table with flowers and prosecco. We celebrated with close family afterwards. It was the happiest day!!!!
