Our wedding will take place in Tepoztlán in the state of Morelos in Mexico. It is a beautiful "Pueblo Mágico", which is special because there are only 132 of them and Tepoztlán is one of them! The concept of Pueblos Mágicos is an initiative led by Mexico's Secretariat of Tourism to promote a series of towns around the country that offer visitors special experiences because of their natural beauty, cultural richness, traditions, folklore, historical relevance, cuisine, art crafts, and great hospitality. It is intended to increase tourism to more localities, especially smaller towns in rural areas. Tepoztlán is a really special place with lots of nature and super relaxing! I (Cassy) visited last year with my dad and really loved it. It is close to Mexico City (about 87km), so we hope that this will make it more accessible to all guests travelling internationally. Also, we hope you can make a vacation out of this trip and visit more areas of Mexico too!
