Hello! I’m Austen, sister of the bride. I mean the bride whose name begins with a C. I mean Cassidy! I’m Cassidy’s sister. I’ve always taken great pride in that role. My sister is versatile and extremely brilliant, and I'm thrilled that she’s found an equally versatile and brilliant match in Cat. The bond between sisters is special, and I’m so lucky to be acquiring another rad sister. In addition to the role of sister, I play a lot of other roles as an actor, traveling the country doing plays and musicals! I also run a blog called The Intuition Gym & Kitchen about intuitive eating & exercise. I’m also a proud teaching fellow with the incredible organization Artists Striving to End Poverty. I can’t wait to see you at the epic celebration of two outstanding women and their inspiring LOVE.

Cat and I met under a shared roof in Brooklyn 25 years ago, before I had the capacity to form memories. As Cat and I grew together, we learned to coexist in a civilized fashion. By the time we were both in high school, one could venture to call us friends. We took trips to New York City together and visit various stores in Greenwich Village. She’d tirelessly work to select fashionable clothes for my wardrobe. She also introduced me to much of the music that has become important to who I became as a person. I live in Philadelphia, and my main livelihood is playing bass in various bands. It is safe to say that I wouldn’t be who I am today without Cat’s influence. I am so happy that she was able to find the love of her life, and I can’t wait to see what their future holds together.
