It is important to us that our guests enjoy Madison during our wedding weekend! If this is your first time in Madison, we recommend staying downtown, as close to the capitol square as possible. We have a room block at the Hilton Monona Terrace, which is just steps from the capitol building. Airbnb is also very popular in Madison and is a great alternative to the hotel. Staying in this area puts you close to the Friday event and just steps from all the best things about Madison. We'll have a shuttle between downtown Madison and the venue on Saturday. Guests who can only join us for Saturday's ceremony and reception may prefer to stay in Stoughton, closer to the venue.
Free parking is available for the Friday event and the wedding on Saturday.
The Friday welcome event is casual. Come prepared to spend some time outside and enjoy the views (there is also an inside space). The dress for the ceremony and reception is cocktail. Look cute, but also be comfortable. The Wisconsin weather can be unpredictable, especially in October!
The shuttle will leave from the Monona Terrace Hotel at 9 East Wilson Street in downtown Madison at 3:00 PM on Saturday. Look for a Badger Bus school bus. Busses will leave the venue to return to the hotel at 9:00 PM, 10:00 PM, and 11:00 PM. The shuttle is available for all guests, and you do not need to be staying at the hotel.
