Madison Highlights

We've lived in Madison for over three years. We hope our guests will take some time to enjoy the city and check out some of our favorite places.

Dane County Farmers Market

200 Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 455-1999

Madison boasts the largest producer-only farmers market in the country. You will find us here every Saturday morning without fail. Be sure to walk around the entire square for the full experience. Here are some of our favorite things to do: -Sample some cheese curds at Hooks (or really any stand) -Cat's Saturday breakfast: empanadas or arepas from the Caracas food truck (they'll be at our Friday welcome party. Be sure to try an empanada at the market if you can't make it) -Magic Coffee from the Graze Market stand -Spicy cheese bread from Stella's -Try the hot sauces, slaws, and pickles and Bushel & Peck's

Lucille

101 King Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 283-0000

Our favorite Friday evening gathering spot. Enjoy yummy pizza and tiki drinks with a view of the capitol. Happy hour starts at 2:00 PM every day!

Estrellon

313 West Johnson Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 251-2111

The Bar at Estrellon is one of our favorite date spots in the city. It's the best place in town to watch the Packers and eat nachos paired with craft cocktails.

Merchant Madison

121 South Pinckney Street, Madison, WI 53703
, (608) 259-9799

Merchant is Madison's best cocktail bar. Be sure to try a cocktail off the rotating seasonal menu.

Picnic Point

2000 University Bay Drive, Madison, WI 53705

Where it all started! Picnic Point is a mile long peninsula into Lake Mendota. Cassidy and Cat got engaged at fire circle #3. Great for some outdoors time and views of Madison.
