Kara is always there to tell Casey how it is, and support her in every decision big and small. We have come a long way, from locking each other out of our room to traveling across the pond together.

Ajia and Casey met in college, without really knowing each other they agreed to be roommates. Ajia and Casey quickly became best friends. After Casey graduated, Ajia continued to be her person. Not a week has gone by where we haven't spent hours on the phone keeping each other updated on our lives.

Alia was Casey's first best friend. If you know us, you know that Alia and Casey met at 3 years old, at the local lake when Alia crawled over to Casey's blanket and Casey fed her goldfish. Alia has been by Casey's side through every phase of life. No matter where either of them are, they know they can always count on each other.

Sage and Casey were roommates in Denver, CO. Sage may have went to college with Luke, but Casey and her became very quick friends when they moved in together. Sage and Casey bonded over their love of reality TV, nature adventures, and game nights. Like Casey and Luke, Sage is always down for an adventure.

Suzie and Leslie have been together for over 30 years. Suzie and Leslie have been the most incredible Aunts and role models to Casey, and quickly opened their hearts to Luke (even throwing him a lobster bake the first time they met him). Suzie and Leslie have supported Casey and Luke in every stage of their relationship. They have set an incredible example of how relationships take work, but in the end your love is the core. We could not ask for a better pair to be our officiants.

Bird Seed Boys
Woodend Sanctuary is the local headquarters for Nature Forward. Nature Forward's mission is to inspire people to appreciate, understand, and protect their natural environment through outdoor experiences, education, and advocacy. A primary focus of Nature Forward is the conservation of native bird species. In line with this focus, the Bird Seed Boys will shower the aisle with bird seed instead of flowers. We are excited to include Brees Neubert (Casey's Godson), Manuel Harris-Herchenroeder (Luke's brother), and Jordan Jacobson (Luke's nephew) in our celebration.
