I was born and raised in this beautiful state of Colorado and it feels so special to have you come to my hometown of Castle Rock where I was formed into the woman I am today. Meeting the love of my life two years ago has been the greatest gift from the Lord. We can't wait to dance the night away with our nearest and dearest on June 7th! From the plains of Texas to the mountains of Colorado. I have been incredibly blessed to have such amazing people in my life who have shaped me into the man I am today. I spend my free time fishing, bourbon hunting, and shanking golf balls at the golf course. I was blessed enough to meet Carina two years ago through one of my best friends, Will. I knew that I met the one, and fell in love almost immediately. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone on June 7th! Dust off yer dancin' shoes and we'll see you then!

Besides Barrett, Elena is the most important person in Carina's life...per Elena. Just kidding, she IS the most important person...just kidding again! Elena is Carina's older and wiser sister. Wiser only because she has learned how NOT to drive her parents crazy from watching Carina do it so well. All joking aside, as sisters, we have seen each other in every season of life and have grown past the bond of family, we are best friends. We have lived together, traveled together, laughed together, and cried together. As Carina and Barrett tie the knot, Elena will get what she has always wanted, a brother.

Paul and Barrett met at a climbing gym in 2016 after they left their hometowns for Denver. Shortly after that, they stumbled across each other at a church they were attending. They connected over tattoos, climbing, skiing, and dumb humor - they’ve been best friends ever since!

Hi I’m Brooke! Carina chose me as a friend and pursued me from the day we met in college, and I’m so grateful for that! She has seen me at my best and my worst and still chooses to love and serve me regardless! Our friendship these days consists of her coming to my house to bake, cook, do some canning, taking care of my kids, having sleep overs, praying for and encouraging each other, and of course massaging my swollen pregnant feet when I’m 41+ weeks pregnant, lol. She’s a special gal and has all of the best qualities of a wife, I’m blessed to walk along side her in this new chapter of life❤️

Kenny Head lives with his wife, Cathleen, and dog, Harvey, in Melissa, Texas. Kenny met Barrett at Oklahoma Christian University, where they lived as roommates their Junior and Senior years (good luck Carina). Kenny and Barrett were both members of Delta Gamma Sigma and the C team intramural basketball league.

Carina was the first one who befriended me when I moved to Colorado!! She was so welcoming me and we became fast friends over our faith and love of fitness. When I moved away we’ve been long distance friends and walked through so many seasons together. So excited for Carina and Barrett in this beautiful exciting new journey they’re about to go on!!

Carina and I met one fateful evening through our Bible study four years ago and I’ve had the beautiful privilege of being her friend ever since. Throughout these last couple years Carina and I have lived together, worked together and have spent serious quality time together as we’ve both journeyed through life’s challenges and adventures, including meeting our men and following God together. So thankful my husband and I can now count Barrett as one of our friends to do life together with! Couldn’t be happier for these two <3

Carina and I met in college and simply could not resist being friends once we realized we both grew up raising goats. A couple hundred late nights, tears, laughter, good food and coffee later we became soul sisters. Carina’s spunk helped push me to my hubby and she met his whole family with me. As we have aged, our time is more precious and she helps rock my babies. My heart about lept out of my chest when I met Barrett and saw the way he looked at Carina. So many prayers all wrapped up in one person. We are over the moon to see the two become one.

I’m beyond excited to be a part of my half-brother Barrett’s wedding party! Finding out about him a little over two years ago was life-changing, and getting to build a relationship with him & the rest of my bonus family has been an incredible journey. It’s an honor to stand by his side on such a special day. When I’m not celebrating family, I’m busy as a Business Ed teacher at Berea High School in Greenville, SC where I also serve as assistant athletic director, and the offensive coordinator/QBs coach for the football team. My wife, Marla, and our two boys, Knox and Nash—Barrett’s nephews—are just as thrilled to be welcoming this new chapter for him. Can’t wait for the big day!
