Question

What is Country Chic?

Answer

Country Chic is an elevated formal attire style that includes mid- to full-length dresses for women and dark-wash jeans paired with a button-down shirt and a sports coat or a suit for men, all with a western twist. We kindly ask all guests to wear cowboy or cowgirl boots, as the entire wedding will take place outdoors on gravel, grass, and concrete. If you have one, please bring your cowboy or cowgirl hat. If not, there will be a limited number of party hats available during the reception.

Question

Should I take allergy medicine?

Answer

If you tend to have allergies to horses, hay, dust, or pollen/grass for that matter all will be present on our wedding day! So yes if you have allergies we encourage you to take allergy medicine before you come to the venue.

Question

Will there be food I can eat if I have a food allergy or don't eat meat?

Answer

YES! Both the bride and groom are dairy free and the bride is gluten free which means all of the food at the wedding will be gluten free and there will be several dairy free options (including desert). Additionally this will be a very meat heavy meal, if you don't eat meat there will be vegetarian options available to you. If you have extreme food allergies please let us know and we will have the chef do his best to accommodate you!

Question

Is this a kid friendly wedding?

Answer

We are so excited to have children join us on our wedding day, but we are limited. Please check your RSVP to see if your child's name is on the list, if not we are deeply sorry, and we will miss them dearly but are limited with our venue.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We love love, and we want you to have your other half at our wedding too! That being said we are limiting plus ones to married couples, engaged couples, and domestic partners. Please check your RSVP to see if their name is on the list, if not we are deeply sorry, but we are very limited with our venue.

Question

What should I do to be at altitude?

Answer

1) Drink LOTS of water 2) Grab an O2 bottle (Boost Oxogen 5) 3) Be mindful of alcohol consumption, 1 drink at altitude = 4 drinks at sea level 4) Wear sunscreen, even if it's overcast! 5) Unrelated to altitude, but if you plan to go on one of the thousands of hikes in the surrounding area always tell someone where you are going, and do not hike alone. 6) See "Things To Do" for details for Hydrate IV Bar
