An easy hike, you can hike all the way up to the top! Great views and an iconic Castle Rock staple.
Downtown Castle rock is filled with great small businesses, locally owned restaurants, dainty coffee, shops, and so much more! An ideal day for me in Castle Rock would start with grabbing coffee at Coff33 or Lost Coffee, then I would make my way over to The Barn and the Emporium to get some shopping done. Then I would head over to get lunch at Castle Café and order their famous fish and chips. I would maybe make my way down to a local brewery (Great Divide Brewery & Roadhouse, Wild Blue Yonder Brewing Co., Iron Mule Brewery) to grab a beer and hang out until dinner time. For dinner I would either grab dinner at The Scileppi's at The Old Stone Church, Union an American Bistro, or Tribe at Riverwalk. And then I would grab a night cap or meet up for cocktails with friends or family at Provision to end the night.
If you are wanting to go on a hike and experience the great outdoors, AllTrails is the app/website we recommend you use! You are able to set any and all perimeters around where you want to hike, for how long, how far, and what you want to see (waterfalls, wildflowers, lakes etc.). We always encourage you to check the weather as well, as Colorado tends to have thunderstorms around 3pm during the spring/summer months and its very important to be off of the summit before that time of day hits. Pack plenty layers, water, tp, and some yummy snacks and you will be all set for the perfect Colorado hike!
