Arapaho Valley Ranch

MichaelFest will be held at Arapaho Valley Ranch which is a 100-acre ranch about a 45 minute drive past Winter Park Ski Resort and about the same distance from either Grand Lake or Granby, CO. While our dream is for everyone to stay on-site with us, there are only a limited number of upscale Glamping accommodations available on a first-come-first served basis, along with powered RV sites for anyone wishing to rent their own camper. If you would like to stay onsite, please reach out to Caren (630.485.0904) or Anthony (630.618.9942) directly. We can help facilitate RV rentals if needed.

Grand Lake Lodge

A lodge that is comprised of mini one-bedroom cabins for accommodations is a wonderful option to stay in the town of Grand Lake. Walking distance from the cute town of Grand Lake, there is plenty to do in the area including shopping, hiking, biking, and boating. Please note that we will be providing round trip transportation to a central location in Grand Lake for our wedding on Saturday.

This is a rustic option that is located walking distance from Grand Lake and is about 30 minutes from the venue. Grand Lake is a very walkable mountain town that has the deepest lake in Colorado as the main attraction! There are shops, restaurants, and tons of hiking and boating options. Please note that we will be providing round trip transportation to a central location in Grand Lake for our wedding on Saturday.

This is a beautiful and luxury option to stay that is located 45 minutes from the venue. This award-winning resort is the nicest accommodation option. Please note, we will not be able to provide transportation to the venue from this location, however you can catch the shuttle from Snow Mountain Ranch in Granby.

Denver International

The closest airport to Arapaho Valley is Denver International. It is a 2 hour drive to the venue from DIA, but there are shuttle services that can get you to Grand Lake and Granby if you do not want to rent a car.

Take the Train From Denver - or even Chicago!

Don’t want to rent a car? Sick of flying? Or like the idea of taking a cross-country train ride? Well, the California Zephyr will take you all the way to Granby, CO from either Denver Union Station, Chicago Union Station, or the Naperville Train Station. If this sounds like your kind of thing, please be aware that Granby, CO is 15 miles from Arapaho Valley Ranch and best to plan ahead for your first / last mile transportation.

Shuttle

Shuttle from to and from the Ceremony/Reception

September 13, 2025 3:15 pm - 10:00 am

There will be three shuttles that will leave from 3:00-3:30pm and will return again once the wedding is over, starting at 9:15-10:15pm. The shuttles will pickup and drop off at a central location in Grand Lake and at Sun Outdoors/Snow Mountain Lodge in Granby. Please note: There will not be any Ubers/Lyfts/ride share options. The road to the venue is dark and gravel and it is not recommended to drive oneself if you are unfamiliar driving in mountain conditions.
