Courtney took this photo of Marcus at the Halloween party they initially met at in October of 2020. Eight months later, they found out that they both kept their glowstick bracelets from that night.

The night Marcus and Courtney shared their first kiss in December of 2020. Marcus stole a smooch goodbye right before he left her apartment from a party she was hosting.

March 2021: The first birthday Marcus and Courtney spent with each other! Courtney turned 20 and Marcus told her he loved her for the first time the same night.

Hawaii, May 2021. This was the first trip (if you don't count Durant, Oklahoma or Austin, TX) that Courtney and Marcus went on together.

The couple's first summer together was spent staying in between Austin and Dallas.

Halloween, 2021. Marcus and Courtney spent the day together, 365 days to the date they met. They were dressed in their first couple's costume. Naturally, they were a Dallas Cowboy and Cheerleader.

Snow days in Marcus's Plano neighborhood! Courtney has always loved the cold, and ever since meeting Marcus, she has been lucky enough to experience a snow day at least once a year. It's her favorite!

One of the couple's many trips to Oklahoma. They love hiking at Turner Falls and eating breakfast at any time of the day at Magnolia Cafe (the restaurant where M & C had their first "official" date).

Marcus and Courtney at their friend's Spotify themed birthday party. This was a year from when they first began talking. They sang Travis Scott on karaoke this night.

February 5th, 2022. The first trip of the couple's annual tradition to go on vacation for their anniversary. In 2022 they visited Estes Park, Colorado.

Costa Rica, 2021. This was Courtney's first time out of the country, and her first trip with the Rodriguez family.

Marcus's first (and hopefully not last) time at a Harry Styles concert. He drank several "Harry's House-aritas", and the couple had a great time.

February, 2023. The couple spent their two year anniversary in Huntington Beach, California. They visited Griffith Observatory and Disneyland on this trip.

Another couple's costume: Buzz Lightyear and Jessie from Toy Story. Courtney's specialty is creating her own full-out costume, and still being able to find a matching t-shirt for Marcus to wear.

Move in day! The couple has lived together since mid-year 2023.

Ever since Marcus accepted his position post-grad at WingStop Corporate, the couple has attended multiple company holiday parties together. They love Lil' Ranchy's dance moves.

The couple's first time visiting Chicago, IL, in January, 2024. Despite a Winter storm taking over and causing for -19 degree temps, they had the best time and fell in love with the city.

Carmel, CA, February, 2024. The couple spent their three year anniversary in Carmel-by-the-sea and Monterrey. They slept through a hurricane and woke up to multiple rainbows the next day!

Budapest, Hungary, 2024. Courtney was generously invited to Europe with Marcus's family for their annual Summer trip. They also visited London, England and Vienna, Austria.

Hawaii, February, 2025. The couple returned to Hawaii to celebrate their four year anniversary.

Hawaii, 2025. This trip easily topped their first one in 2021. They could actually rent a car and were able to explore ALL of Oahu, and were not limited only to the Honolulu bus route.

Yellowstone, 2025. Another Rodriguez family trip that was full of fun and laughter. M & C saw the most unreal sights and wildlife.

Bentonville, Arkansas, August, 2025. While this was not the trip Marcus proposed on, it was the trip that incited the idea for a second visit to the Natual State later in October when he proposed.

Marcus and Courtney at their first wedding together! They travelled to Edin, Oklahoma in September of 2025 for Tommie and Madeline’s wedding.

Taken on October 10th, 2025. This was about an hour after Marcus popped the question in Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Newly engaged! After their day in the park, Courtney and Marcus celebrated privately with their favorite vacation dinner: pizza and cider. The pizza was horrible, but nothing could dull this night.
