Matron of Honor
Fate brought us together our freshman year of college, but we chose to live together all four years. During that time, we did everything from travelling together, counseling each other through the most stressful periods of life, and adjusting to adulthood post-college. She's kept me humble by collecting and sharing many amusing anecdotes from college, my favorite is my predilection for freezing a half-eaten chocolate truffle because it was "too melted".
Matron of Honor
Lightning struck twice, so to speak, in the college roommates department, when Danielle joined our college roommates and besties circle after freshman year. Danielle is one of the sweetest and most humble people I've ever met. She and Marissa truly helped me thrive through college, and since have continued offering wisdom and advice as we've moved through the post-college world. Among my favorite memories is laying "still" on the floor of the Kirkland house library to relax before finals.
Bridesmaid
Jasmine and I share the uncommon distinction of having attended the same college, but never having met one another until we graduated. It was over the course of one fateful evening at a GA alumni gathering session that Jasmine and I became fast friends. Among the middle-aged professionals networking over hors d'oeuvres, we quickly shuffled off to our corner and instead connected over being new young graduates in a city far from the hubs common of our college friends. 1 dog, 2 city moves. and 2 engagements later we're going strong as ever!

Nicole is one of my longest and greatest friends, our love and friendship goes back to the Tucker High days as two of the most studious players on our Varsity Soccer team. We were awarded the Einstein sisters award for bringing our textbooks to study before and after each of our games. In fact this became an ongoing trend, us being mistaken for sisters (despite not looking similar) due to our unique intonation and friendly open-mouthed smiles.
Bridesmaid
Tiana and I have been best friends since college, when we met on the board of the Black Pre-Law Association. Naturally, neither of us would go on to pursue law degrees following graduation. But the greatest gift of our time together, was kicking off a beautiful decade plus friendship. She's a true boss and was one of my greatest advisors when it came to applying for business school, even with the many obstacles throughout the process she was there to offer her advice and words of wisdom along the way.
Best Man
I met Kyle in 1991, back when we were very young. (For those who haven't gotten the joke yet, he is my identical twin brother.) Kyle and I have been close throughout our lives, from composing piano duets in middle school to studying economics and joining the step team at Princeton. Over the course of our lives, we've grown so much together and shared many special memories, including me being the best man at his wedding 3 years ago. And now he has been gracious enough to return the favor!
Groomsman
I knew Michael in high school, and we both found ourselves in ATL after college looking for a new place to live. We met up for a drink to determine whether we were roommate material. Right around that time, I had also just met Candance--so over the course of a couple weeks, I had found a great girlfriend and a great roommate! It was easy living from there on filled with lots of travel, exploring ATL, great conversations and watching horrible music videos on Sunday afternoons. Here's to more of that!

Jessie is one of my oldest Atlanta friends - a quirky, travel-loving, book lady who can always be counted on for a good conversation. Jessie has known Candance and me as a couple from the outset of our relationship and quickly became a third-wheel (in a mostly good way :P). Through weekly group dinners, meet-ups around the world and FaceTime hangouts, we have experienced the joys and pains of our 20s, (and now 30s) and through it all have become lifelong friends. Here’s to more adventures around the world!
Groomsman
I met Walter through Candance, his younger sister. It's a little bit surprising how similar they are--Candance has joked that they share the same face! Since then I've learned that Walter and I share similar musical tastes, a slightly hipstery style, and a love of Atlanta's & Oakland's coolest restaurants and venues. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with him, his wife Monique, and his daughter Zoe, and I'm glad to be gaining him as a brother-in-law.
Groomsman
I met Eliot through my brother, when I was looking for a roommate for just one semester (because I'd be studying abroad in the spring). I thought it would be temporary, but little did I know that Eliot and I would be come such good friends, as we share a dry sense of humor and a penchant for philosophical conversations. We became full-time roommates in senior year, and have stayed in touch ever since, including through my time in London! Unfortunately, speaking of London, he probably won't be able to come because of COVID restrictions. But he will be with us in spirit, or maybe over Zoom.
