Watch the Wedding Online!

We are streaming the ceremony.

Given the pandemic, we recognize there are a few people who would have loved to be here with us but aren't able or ready to travel. So we are live-streaming the ceremony so that you can see our special day! Here is the link, for you to copy & paste in a new window. The video will be available live on June 5 at 7 pm Eastern, and you can also watch it at the same link afterward. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hPncYGcRV0

COVID-19 Protocols

Please be tested the week of, or vaccinated!

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the Greystone in Atlanta, which is a large, high-ceilinged stone building that has two large rooms and an outdoor balcony. The ceremony will take place outdoors on the balcony, while the reception will incorporate both those indoor and outdoor spaces in order to allow people adequate distancing. We will be keeping the doors open to maintain airflow. For guests who are unable to attend in person, we will provide a link to a live broadcast of the wedding ceremony. We will set up the seating so that distance can be maintained between parties where possible. During the reception, guests will be able to freely walk between the inside seating area and the outdoor balcony. We are asking all of our non-vaccinated guests to take a COVID test the week of the ceremony, so please book an appointment for the week of May 31. If possible, we would ask you to exercise caution during that week, so as to avoid catching the virus the week of the ceremony. Regardless of testing or vaccination status, we are still asking all guests to wear masks over nose and mouth for the duration of the wedding ceremony and reception, unless you are eating. We will also take temperatures before the ceremony, and ask that if you feel ill, you watch the livestream of the wedding from your hotel.

How We Met

First Comes Coffee, Then Comes Bagel

We met for the first time for a date at Piedmont Park after matching on the Coffee Meets Bagel dating app. Piedmont Park was chosen as the first date location, with Candance preferring a highly public location that contained many exits and Kevin opting for a locale convenient to his weekend kickball game. Despite low initial investment, we found ourselves strolling around the park in deep conversation for over 5 hours. 1 pit-stop at Twains and 1 Froyo run later, we embarked on their over 6 year romance. Since then we've lived in 3 cities, 2 countries, and applied to 12 graduate business schools. Now we're ready to tie the knot and couldn't be more excited to see you all there this Summer!

The Proposal

Wait, is this real?!?

In typical Kevin fashion, the proposal was orchestrated as an elaborate ruse. It involved a story about a certain groomsman (Mike Kaluzny) celebrating his recent home purchase in Piedmont Park. On the way to said fictional gathering, Kevin handed Candance a letter he had written earlier in the day. However, since they were already late to the fictional gathering, Candance pocketed the letter and continued on in the direction of the party. Finally, an exasperated Kevin asked her to read the letter out loud. When she was finished, she turned to find Kevin down on one knee.

Parking!

Parking is a little tricky, but it's doable.

The venue is inside Piedmont Park. To get to the venue, you have to do the following. Step 1: Go to the parking garage. If you use your phone to map to Piedmont Park Parking, it will give you the correct location. It's east of the park, on Evelyn Street. Say that you're with the Samuel-Ofori wedding, and they will let you through the gate. Step 2: Get on one of the golf carts. After you go in to park, you'll see the golf carts on the ground floor on the opposite side of where you drove in. Those golf carts will be shuttling people to the venue. If you're happy to walk, it's about 5 minutes. There will be signs directing you as well. The venue is called Piedmont Park Greystone, it's southwest of the parking lot, and you can also find it on Google Maps. Step 3: Come on in (before the ceremony starts at 7) and enjoy the wedding!
