Things To Do

Fisher Homestead

Milton, DE 19968

The Fisher Homestead, fondly called Cedarcroft ,has been in Annie's family since 1685 when the land was homesteaded by her ancestor John Fisher. Legend has it that John and his brother where horse thiefs who when given the option of jail or the colonies, chose the long trip across the Atlantic from Leads England. They landed in Philadelphia. While his brother chose to remain in Philadelphia, John determined the landing was too far up the Delaware River to every amount to anything and chose to venture south. While his prediction about Philadelphia turned out to be wrong, it was a decision the family cherishes, leaving us with a spot of ground that is magical to us all. You too will get to enjoy Cedarcroft when you join us for Annie and Chris' wedding ceremony and reception.

Surf Bagel Lewes

17382 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958

With two locations around the Lewes area, Surf Bagel is a great place to get a bagel sandwich, salad or wrap for either breakfast or lunch. The Lewes store located on RT 1, has ample, casual seating both inside and outside. The MIDWAY store is located in the Midway stripmall and is more of a pick it up and go spot. In season, the line can get long so it doesn't hurt to order ahead.
