Maid of Honor
Erin is my best friend, my little sister. While we didn't get along when we were younger, I have grown really fond of this lovely lady. This girl has been there for me through the good and the bad. Erin will always tell me when I am being ridiculous and I need to take a step back. She's always the first person I go to when I have big news and I want to share the moment with her. We literally shared a bedroom for Erin's entire life and would get yelled at by my dad ALL THE TIME for being obnoxious when it was time to go to bed. This girl is everything to me. I don't know what I would do without her. I am so excited to have her by my side on such a big day. I love you, Ewin (shout out to the bird that gave her this nickname!)
Best Man
Mark became friends with us in 2012 when he came to Band Camp at Bloomsburg University as a freshman. We knew we had to be friends with him when he tried to strike up a conversation with two girls by sitting in between them on a couch and they immediately got up and left. This guy has spirit, we admired that! We grew to love this guy and all of his antics. Mark is incredibly smart and uses his wit to make anyone laugh. He has always been supportive of us as individuals and as a couple in both his words and his actions. For this reason he has been chosen as the Best Man. Mark is such a genuinely kind person and pivotal part of the development of our relationship, that we couldn't celebrate the day without him.
Bridesmaid
I met Becky in the summer of 5th grade heading to 6th grade at a summer band rehearsal at Cedar Crest. I am cringing already at how awkward we were! She has supported me through the most difficult times in my life. We've cried together, we've laughed together. Most importantly we cried and laughed together while we sacrificed a toy goat to Artemis during our cinematic debut of "AGAMEMNON" staring more barbies than I knew Becky had for our AP Literature assignment. You would think after being together for such a long time that we must have fought about petty things too, right? Wrong! Becky and I have never fought about anything, we have disagreed on things, but I have never been mad at her. It takes something really special to create a relationship like ours.
Groomsman
Ryan is Sam's big brother. Some of her fondest memories with him include playing with Legos in his room and once getting accidentally locked in there along with Erin! Sam always wanted to be like her brother: naturally smart, hardworking, loved by all the teachers, and most of all; kind. Sam decided to follow close in his footsteps to see how he achieved all of these things and joined the Ebenezer Elementary School Band in 4th grade as a flute player. If not for this she may have never met Zach in her college band! As time has passed, Ryan has maintained these attributes and gained more as he has grown more comfortable in his own skin. He has been a voice of reason when Sam feels like she has lost hers. He is the ideal older brother and Sam continues to admire him to this day.
Bridesmaid
Leeeeeaaaaahhhh! This is the person that when I wake up I say "I want to be like Leah today". Leah has the cutest laugh in the world, an incredible work ethic, a loving and supportive family, a fear of NOTHING (not even stink bugs!), and she is not afraid to speak her voice. I love this woman with all of my heart. She is such an inspiration, because despite being brilliant and beautiful, Leah is one of my best friends. I can't begin to say how happy it makes me to get a text from her reminding me of how much she loves me. It makes me tear up just thinking about it, because I wish I could hug her all the time but we live so far away-IT BREAKS MY HEART! Leah has always been there for me, especially when I need to ask for extra condiments at Friendly's because the waiters can be VERY scary.
Groomsman
I met Arrista when he joined Kappa Kappa Psi in 2010. He is my Grand little. He is the person you call when you want to go on an adventure and you need to get everyone hyped up! Arrista has always been the life of parties, he expresses himself unapologetically and he'll make anything and everything fun. What I love most about Arrista is his loyalty to his friends. He's been a great friend to me and Sam since we all met. I miss living near him in Philly because it was just like our time at Bloomsburg. Even though we don't see each other as often and we aren't related by blood, we share a bond in music, and I consider him to be a brother I never had. Arrista is bound to help make my wedding day an unforgettable one!
Bridesmaid
Heather may be one of the weirdest, yet most fun people I know next to her brother, the man I'm marrying. Oh boy, I am willingly joining a openly crazy family, and I sincerely can't say how excited I am. Heather is the person I can turn to when I need to talk about my mental health in a very blunt manner. It can be exhausting to tone down my thoughts, but with her there's no holding back. No matter what is going on, she is always down to chill in our PJ's and watch Disney movies! She is another person who has no fear of speaking her mind! She once asked a guy at a restaurant if he was a famous Olympian- and his parents went with it! It was such a sweet and genuine conversation, I'm not sure how to explain it. If she can make someone smile, she always will, and I love her so much for that.
Groomsman
Matt is Zachs cousin. Zach is nine years older than him but the age difference didn't stop them from becoming very close. We used to go swimming with our families, hang out at various family gatherings, and play games away from all of the adults. Matt was always a very active and athletic person and thrived in every new environment he was exposed to. For instance, he could definitely beat me in video games, though we've never really tried. Watching him grow through the years has been such an incredible experience. He has become an intelligent, hilarious, and hardworking person that I can rely on to be there for me if I ever need him. Matt is not just my cousin, he's a good friend and I can't imagine this day without him nearby.
Bridesmaid
Lauren is my Eve. I am her Wall-E. We met at Bloomsburg University and became Tau Beta Sigma sorority sisters in the Delta Omega chapter. Although we aren't in the same "family", we bonded so much that we actually convinced people that we were engaged after taking an adorable photo in which Lauren was on one knee and I had a shocked expression on my face. She has always been there for me- when I've needed to vent at early hours of the night, when I needed volunteers in my performance art pieces, and when I needed a beer pong partner! She has no fear and encourages me to try new things that may be out of my comfort zone! She is everything that I aspire to be: studious, outgoing, and unapologetically herself. This woman is the absolute perfect mix of wild yet mature!
Groomsman
Kyle may be the most eccentric person I know, and I mean that in the best way possible. He was my roommate for a while in the dorms and later when we lived in Thee White House in Bloomsburg. If there's a way to flip your words into something with a completely new and hilarious connotation, Kyle will do it. He is so quick to make a joke, he does this especially well with people who are struggling to get involved in the groups activities. He is drawn to people who need a friend to lift them up and he does his best to assist them. He was always a good friend to both Sam and Zach. Some of our best memories involve KKPsi and TBS trips to other universities in the NE district. From prank phone calls to sketchy (but cheap!) bars, there was never a dull moment with him around.
