The entire wedding weekend takes place at Camp Tioga in Thompson, PA. The ceremony is in a field at the bottom of the camp and the reception is under a pavilion at a slightly higher elevation.
From Philadelphia Take 476 North (the northeast extension of the PA turnpike) to Route 81 North. Continue on 81 to exit 211 (Lenox exit). Make a left off the exit and a right at the blinking light onto route 92 north. Follow 92 for approximately 7.5 miles. You will see a yellow sign for Camp Tioga, as well as a sign for Rock Creek Lumber and a yellow road sign that shows two right turnoffs. Take the first right past these signs onto a dirt road. Follow the dirt road down a hill to the right and then continue for about 1 mile, staying left at the fork. Camp Tioga will be on your left. (For more directions from other parts of the country check this website: https://www.camptioga.com/contact/directions/)
We have cabins that are located where all activities are taking place. We would prefer if you stayed on site instead of looking for accommodations elsewhere because we get a discount depending on how many people reserve their stay on the grounds. Please go to this website to book your stay: https://www.poconoscampweddings.com/book-your-stay-1/bowman-wedding It is $59/per person per night. Example: 4 people staying for two nights would be $472.
Your cabin will supply pillows, sheets for your bed and pillow cases. Zach and Sam are providing soap, shampoo, and conditioner within each cabin. You need to bring blankets, and a towel for showering (and possibly swimming). We also recommend bringing nice comfortable shoes for the wedding, and sneakers to participate in the activities around the camp. Bug spray, sun screen, and sunglasses may also come in handy, but are not necessary!
Meals are provided for those who are staying on site. Easy access to all activities provided by the camp. If you have a pet they are allowed to stay in your cabin for no additional cost. It is the closest accommodation to the wedding. You don't need to worry about transportation to and from the wedding.

The ceremony and reception are cocktail attire (suit and tie, sweater and slacks, formal dresses, slacks and a blouse-just don't look like a bum! We're not terribly picky! Just don't wear jeans) with comfortable shoes, ladies, I'd recommended flats! Otherwise please dress casual for activities offered by the camp. If the weather is warm, bring a swimsuit, wear gym clothes for zip lining or other sports you can participate in.
Yes, our theme revolves around the beauty of the Pennsylvania mountains, camping, and traveling to new and exciting places.
Obviously don't wear white, but otherwise you can wear whatever you'd like! Our wedding colors are oranges and reds (fall colors) so if you'd like to keep that color scheme going, you're more than welcome to, but it is by no means required.
August 15th, 2020 and you can either RSVP on this website and go to the "RSVP" tab and type in your name and select whether you are attending or regretfully decline. If others are on your invitation you can RSVP for them as well. If you aren't tech saavy, you can return the RSVP card that is included with your invitation. We did not include a stamp though, so you must provide that yourself.
Your invitation will indicate if you can bring a plus one or not. Please do not ask if you can bring someone if it does not mention it on your invitation. We unfortunately cannot accommodate everyone that we may like to.
Yes! Please bring your children! We originally thought it would be easier on parents if their kids stayed with someone else, but we realized that may not always be the case. Our venue does not provide high chairs though so you'll have to bring your own supplies. If you plan to stay overnight, just mark the number of adults in the room under "quantity". There is no charge for children to be in the room. There will be plenty of food options for the kids to enjoy, but if you are worried about options feel free to pack your own meals. We can store the food in a refrigerator for you if need be.
You will get the most out of this experience by arriving on Friday October 2nd, 2020 around 12PM and staying until October 4th, 2020. If you can't come on Friday though, it would be best to arrive by 3:30on Saturday October 3rd, because the ceremony begins at 4PM.
Please respond by RSVPing "regretfully decline" on our website or by sending your RSVP in the mail (please make sure you get your own stamp because we are not including them).
When you arrive, camp staff will direct you to your room if you are staying on site where you can drop off belongings. Then, you will follow their golf cart to the parking lot where you can park and they will escort you back to your room. Parking is free.
Yes! We would love to see your photos and videos from our wedding! Please make sure to include our hashtag #CanErhardlyWait in your posts! Keep in mind, there will be a moment for you to take photos of Zach and Sam at the beginning of the ceremony, but when Ted, our officiant says to put your devices away, you will not be able to take photos or videos again until cocktail hour begins.
After the reception we would love if you would take some flowers! Our DJ will announce what is able to be taken home before the last song is played. There are some items that belong to the camp, so please don't take anything before it is announced.
YES! We expect everyone to get on the dance floor! We will also have a photobooth during our reception where you can take silly pictures with props and take a copy home as a wedding favor.
Target! We also accept monetary gifts as we prepare to buy our first home!
