Question

Will you be providing transportation to camp?

Answer

Group transportation will be available for guests staying at camp the full weekend. On Friday the bus will leave from Irving Park in Portland (707 NE Fremont St) at 2:30PM arriving at the camp by 4pm for check in. On Sunday morning transportation will leave camp at 10:30am arriving back in Portland around 11:30am.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Friday: Casual Attire. Sundresses and sandals, jeans and tees, exercise attire. Whatever you are most comfortable in to participate in activities if you would like (yard games, scavenger hunt, bonfires, etc.) Saturday: Semi-Formal. No tie required. No jeans. There will be walking on unpaved paths up/down hill between event locations so a thick comfortable heel or flats are recommended

Question

What is the "camp" situation

Answer

Camp Namanu has a number of different cabins with various setups. Cabins will be pre-assigned. Cabins will be shared with other guests and have twin sized beds with a mattress provided. Plan to bring your own bedding/sleeping bag + pillow or they can be provided for an extra fee. Most cabins are fully enclosed - open air cabins are available on request. Each cabin has at least one toilet, shower, and mirror. There are multiple shared bathroom facilities located around the camp near the cabins as well. Bathrooms have full electricity and plugs available for use. Drinkable water is available at camp. Phone service is limited at camp but there is WIFI in many of the buildings.

Question

What is provided if we stay at camp?

Answer

We are planning to provide Beer, Wine, and select non alcoholic options both Friday and Saturday night. Feel free to bring any personal preferences of drinks you would like to have or anything you want to drink during the day on Saturday.

Question

Full weekend includes lodging, group transportation (if needed), Friday night dinner + drinks, and Saturday/Sunday breakfast. Saturday night only includes a light breakfast on Sunday. Question

I am not staying at the camp but would like to come hang out on Friday night. Can I?

Answer

We would love to have you join on Friday even if you are not staying at the camp. We will be providing food and drinks to anyone who would like to come so there will be a charge to attend - $50. Please RSVP yes to attending Friday if you are interested in this option. There is of course no charge to attend afternoon/evening events on Saturday even if you are not staying at the camp.

Question

How do I RSVP

Answer

After formal invitations are sent out you will be able to RSVP here on our website in the tab above. The sooner the better since we will need to coordinate everyone's lodging before they arrive. Please RSVP by August 24.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by August 24, you will be marked as "not attending." We would love to celebrate with you; however, we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors by specific dates and therefore cannot accept late RSVPs.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Due to our budget and camp restrictions, we are only able to accommodate a specific number of guests. Your invitation will be made out to "Your Name + Guest's Name" if a plus one has been given to you. With that said, if you do believe a plus one was accidently left off of your invitation, please reach out. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your children; however, we have decided to keep our weekend an adults only 21+ event.

Question

Are pets allowed at camp?

Answer

Unfortunately, Camp Namanu does not allow pets other than those that belong to the bride and groom. Brody and Reign will be in attendance and will be available to provide as many snuggles as you need.
