What do I pack!?
Answer
Layers! The coast can bring warm and chilly weather within a few hours. No shorts or denim! Seriously, men cannot wear shorts in the clubhouse for brunch on Sunday and denim cannot be worn by anyone in the clubhouse for brunch on Sunday. Thank you for understanding!

What is the actual town of the wedding venue?
Answer
Pebble Beach, California and is where our venue is located. Pebble Beach is a small residential community in the Del Monte Forest with a scenic coastal road and several golf courses on the Monterey Peninsula. The Monterey Peninsula includes "Pebble Beach, Del Monte Forest," "Carmel-by-the-sea," and the city of "Monterey" so you will be close by in any of these seaside towns. The surrounding towns are where you find great shops, restaurants and activities. We recommend staying at the Monterey Plaza Hotel in Monterey or an Airbnb or VRBO in "Pebble Beach, Del Monte Forest". There are numerous small inns in Carmel-by-the-Sea but most require a two night minimum. See our Travel page for all the airport and lodging details.

How do we get into Pebble Beach?
Answer
There are several gated entrances to the scenic drive in Pebble Beach. The fee they charge is for tourists and you do not need to pay. Throughout the weekend you simply need to say you are here for the Marino Jones Wedding at MPCC and you will be able to enter without the fee.

When should we book our flights and accommodation?
Answer
We recommend booking your travel plans as soon as possible, check out our travel page for all the airport and lodging information. Pebble Beach on the Monterey Peninsula is a popular destination year round but some of the best weather is in October.

What is the climate like in this area? What is the attire for the wedding events?
Answer
The climate is cool and coastal, Northern California does not enjoy the same warm beach temperatures as Perth. Be sure to pack layers for the time you'll spend in the area. There are tons of outdoor activities including golf, kayaking, whale watching and hiking all within the area so pack for whatever you may want to take advantage of. Find ceremony and reception attire details on our formal invitations and note no denim is allowed at the Monterey Peninsula Country Club (so please leave your Canadian Tuxedos* at home). *Canadian Tuxedo = when you wear denim head to toe, a jean jacket and jeans for example

Will the wedding include activities all weekend?
Answer
All the details will arrive in the formal invitations but Pebble Beach and the surrounding towns are great destinations with lots of activities - check out our things to do page. We will be in the area starting midweek and are excited to enjoy as much time with friends and family in town as possible, but if you can't arrive until Saturday that is great too! The ceremony and reception will be Saturday afternoon and we hope guests can stay for brunch Sunday morning.
