Our relationship started as all modern romances do, with a dating app. But as a testament to true love we matched on not only one app but two! We quickly found common ground for conversation when Callum noticed a Tim Tam* branded coffee mug in one of Mia’s photos. After some witty banter about our shared love of Australia**, the Bay Area, live music and good food we decided to take the plunge and meet in person at Harper & Rye on Polk Street. We both remember our first impressions vividly. Mia was surprised to find Callum more reserved in person than in their lively conversations over text message, while Callum (being quite astute) remarked at how petite in stature Mia was. As it turns out Callum became less reserved after a few dates (though Mia is fated to remain the same height). Since our first date over four years ago we have shared countless laughs together, traveled all over indulging our mutual love of exploration, cultivated a home together and can’t wait to share our wedding weekend with you!
