Allie met Amelia through teaching 3rd grade together at Hough Elementary and were teaching partners for the past 6 years! They bonded over their love of all things Christmas, breakfast foods, and new school supplies.

Casey is Ryan’s youngest brother, who unfortunately can’t attend because he is currently stationed in Australia with the U.S Navy. He is a groomsman in spirit and has been a huge support no matter where in the world he has been!
Doug Smedley

Ryan's partner in crime, it seems where ever Ryan is, Doug is probably there too and vice-versa. Ryan and Doug have had some pretty epic trips together ranging from a boys weekend golfing in Bandon Dunes to a Pandemic Road trip to the Bay area where they were tricked by a pirate.

Friends since Kindergarten where they met because Ryan was the only one who could read and Jay enjoyed listening to Ryan read "Bearenstein Bear" books to him. Jay and Ryan have been best friends since then and lived together in the Naughty North of Stephenson Hall at WSU Freshman year. Go Cougs!
Filly Afenegus

Filly and Ryan have been coaching boys and girls soccer together for 8 years at Columbia River High School. Together they have won league, district and state titles. Filly also teaches at Gaiser Middle School with Ryan as well. Ryan sees Filly as a huge mentor to his coaching and teaching careers and the two have become great friends over the years.
Matt Newman

Ryan met Matt when Matt was in 6th grade and Ryan was coaching him as a goalkeeper on a club soccer team. Now all these years later the two have become great friends and also lived together for a couple years where many nights were spent at Providence Park catching a soccer game. Matt also coaches soccer with Ryan at River and will be a counselor at Hough Elementary where Allie works in the Fall!
AJ Brown
Groomsman
Ryan met AJ when he was assigned to work in his class as a student advocate at Gaiser Middle School. Since then the two have become very close friends with years of hilarious memories. AJ has been an enormous support to Ryan and without meeting AJ, Ryan would not be where he is with teaching, as AJ was a key motivator to Ryan to get his teaching endorsement.
