FAQs

The Wedding Website of Calla McCabe and Davis Clark
We know weddings come with lots of questions, so we’ve gathered the most important details here. From travel tips to dress code and timing, this page has everything you need to know. If you have any questions on the big day, please reach out to anyone but Calla.
Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 3:00 PM at Our Lady of Lebanon in Washington, DC. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to allow time for DC traffic and seating. Parking at the church is limited, so we suggest carpooling or using rideshare.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional. Tuxedos or dark suits for men, and long gowns, elegant midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits for women.

Question

What Color are the Bridesmaids Wearing?

Answer

The question Calla always asks! The bridesmaids will be wearing Green.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, when you RSVP please alert us to any and all food allergies!

Question

Which airport should I fly into?

Answer

DC is served by three airports: DCA (Reagan National) — Closest to downtown, about 15–20 minutes by car or Metro. IAD (Dulles International) — About 45 minutes from downtown, with more international flights. BWI (Baltimore/Washington International) — About an hour away, often the most budget-friendly, will require a rental car or a trip on the MARC train into DC

Question

What’s the best way to get around DC?

Answer

Metro is a convenient option for exploring the city, the closest stop to the reception is Metro Center. Rideshares like Uber and Lyft are also widely available. Parking downtown is limited, so we recommend Metro or rideshare whenever possible.
