Napa Valley
Napa has plenty to do, even for those who don't enjoy wine. There's a variety of delightful wine and food options! We recommend the Wine Train, V. Sattui winery, Castello di Amorosa for wine, and the Oxbow Market for food, and downtown Napa for shopping. Also two wonderful breweries nearby: fieldwork and stone.
Old Sacramento
This is the historic center of California's capital and one of our favorite places to spend a casual weekend afternoon! there's a lot of quirky shops and great food options, including fine dining on the Delta King, a historic river boat. There's a lovely paved path along the Sacramento river that crosses the historic Tower Bridge (one of Cali's favorite things to photograph!). There are also several museums including California history museum and the California railroad museum. Downtown is also in walking distance!
DOCO - Downtown Commons
Another local option for food and fun. Golden 1 center for Kings game and our favorite, Punchbowl Social for cocktails and games! They have an arcade, shuffleboard, bowling, darts, Jenga, Cornhole, and more! Also within walking distance of K and J streets which have more food and bar options, including coin op bar with a great craft beer selection and tons of arcade games 😁

Seaside town famous for being the set of "the birds". Awesome option for beaches and gorgeous ocean views

book a ferry ride and take the audio tour! You'll need to book tickets though the national Park service
