Great place to go to find a variety of food and to people watch for a bit. It gets crowded quickly, so be prepared for a lot of people.

Union Market

FREE! We like free things, too.  Parking is not free, but entrance to the zoo is.

National Zoo

Go on Saturday or Sunday morning to see a large number of vendors selling art, goods, produce, and good snacks. If you see the churro stand, you should get one.

Eastern Market

There are tons of museums and cool things to see here.  Food? Not so much.  You can bring snacks and eat elsewhere, or grab a sandwich from one of the food trucks.
