Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We've secured a block at the DoubleTree Bethesda. Please check out the "Travel" tab for the link, code, and phone number. Also, be sure to book before August 29th to lock in the rate!

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Please try to let us know by August 15th! We have a little bit of wiggle room here, but not too much. You can easily RSVP on this site! Just click on the RSVP tab and type in your name. Having trouble? Just let one of us know and we can help!

Should I let you guys know if I can't make it?

Answer

Yes! We know that not everyone will be able to come, and that's okay. However, please still go to the RSVP section and choose the "Decline" option so that we can properly estimate our numbers. Otherwise, Caitlyn is going to think that your invitation got lost in the mail, and that will be stressful.

Where is the ceremony/reception taking place?

Where do I park at the wedding?

Answer

The venue does have a parking lot. Please be about fifteen minutes early or else you may drive through the background during the ceremony, and that would be kind of awkward.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire/Semi-Formal. Not sure what that means? We aren't either, but cocktail dresses, pant suits, floor length dresses, or a suit and tie are all okay with us.

Will there be food and drinks that are served?

Answer

Yes! We will have a full meal and a bar. If you have any dietary needs (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.), please let us know when you RSVP.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

When you use our online form to RSVP, other members of your party (i.e spouses, partners, or guests) will be automatically listed. Please do not bring an extra person outside of who is listed on your RSVP form, as we won't have space for them. If we didn't know the name of your guest (...or if maybe we weren't 100% sure on the spelling of their name), there will be an option to add their information on the RSVP.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both. The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be held under a tented area/indoors.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Please don't. We hired a wonderful pair of professional photographers to take care of that. We promise to post so many photos on social media that you'll be glad that you don't have another image hiding in your phone. During the cocktail hour and reception? Snap and gram away :)
