Skylar and Caitlyn met on the very first day of undergrad at the HC at Florida Atlantic University. The machine that was supposed to print their ID cards broke, and they met when they were sent to the Housing Office to get them printed. They ran into each other again later that same day when Caitlyn went to hang out with Dillon, the only person she knew at the school, and it just so happened that Skylar was his roommate. Caitlyn knew that she liked Skylar when they first met in that office, and Skylar knew it a few days later when they were on a bus ride together and she stopped the conversation to sing a song. They became best friends pretty quickly, and a few months in, Skylar asked Caitlyn to be his girlfriend while walking on the beach at 3 AM. Seven years later, after graduating from the HC, moving to D.C for grad school and work, graduating again, and getting real jobs, Skylar took Caitlyn back to that same beach and asked her to marry him.
