Bridesmaid
Faith and Jaime go back to 8th grade French classes, where Jaime proved to be quite poor at learning her mother tongue and Faith got real bored, real quick just learning the names of different foods. That same year, Faith, Jaime, and Loren were all in their middle school performance of Annie, and friendships bloomed from there. The punk queen would groan at incessant hugs and abandoned typical school conventions, such as attending prom (honestly, in retrospect, yes choose Lollapalooza over prom). Over the years, the hugs grew on her, and Faith has been a rock for the trio. Past her sarcastic, nihilistic wit is a strong, warm, introspective and caring friend who Jaime has delighted to watch blossom in adulthood. From rock concerts to three course Friendsgivings to gardening and bird watching, Jaime will embark on any delight Faith wants to expose her to. And if the day is just a sluggish afternoon crashing in Faith's Bloomfield living room with local tacos and metal music, the quality time is all the better.
Bridesmaid
Loren was on an opposing volleyball team in 8th grade gym when Jaime started serving strikes and shade: “This is for you and your stupid hair!” Somehow this was funny(?) and cool(!?) and Loren had to meet this lady (weirdo). Fortunately, Loren, Jaime, and Faith were in Annie together that year, and a fast and long friendship was born, with many family vacations, purple bedroom sleepovers, volunteer walks, and Birthright. When Jaime graduated college and started working in NYC, Loren invited her to swing dance lessons. Jaime started to meet Loren's dance community, including one Adam Lurie. Unlike previous relationships, Adam wasn't a third wheel to Jaime and Loren's very boisterous dynamic. Another long relationship was born. As Loren found other homes (Hawaii, Rochester, Canada), they have remained close with random virtual hangs or squeezed in holiday or birthday visits.
Bridesmaid
Jaime and Tatiana started as neighbors in Lenape Hall freshman year at SUNY New Paltz. The moment Jaime’s room had an opening, Tatiana signed up for 2 1/2 years of roommate shenanigans. Picture a Wes Anderson-esque collection of material memories: putrid Uggs, sexy Gryffindor and Slytherin Halloween costumes, a Pinkie Pie Build-a-Bear. Through the whirlwind of college, Tatiana’s grounded, no nonsense disposition and love gave Jaime her home away from home. Despite most of the past decade being spent many, many hours apart, coming back together for a long weekend or a holiday visit feels natural, grounded, assuring. Tatiana is one of the only people Jaime regularly chats with on phone or Facetime, where even silence together while cooking feels like home.
Brother of the Bride
It is told that when Jaime was around 4 or 5 years old, she would ask her parents why she didn't have a younger sibling. Drew had Taryn; Rena had Julia. Jaime remembers very little before Jeremy entered her world, and she can't see a life without him. One usually assumes that a little brother takes after a big sister, but there are many times Jaime is not sure what quirky mannerisms are hers or his. Sure, Jeremy's love for video games started when Jaime put him in front of a desktop computer enough times and he finally did something when she wasn't looking. On the other hand, she could never be as inspired as Jeremy when he said his favorite Disney Princess was Emperor Kuzco. Each similarity and difference is a delight. Watching her brother be truly and wholly himself and finding his happiness is the best gift Jaime could ask for.
Esteemed Enby / Best Person
Adam's nearest, dearest, and (arguably) queerest friend. They met as freshman in high school, bonding over a shared interests in theater, cute girls, and being absolutely ridiculous together. Whether it was keeping a quote book of Mr. Kramerisms ("So, the Greeks were a great naval power — N-A-V-A-L, not N-A-V-E-L — that would just mean they had *belly button* powers...."), or cavorting around Screaming Mimi's in boas for the express purpose of a photoshoot with an anthropomorphized copy of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (6th ed.), these two knew how to have a silly, good time. Nowadays, in the rare moments when Andi is not working a 19 hour film shoot, or going above and beyond for their other friends, they squeeze in time to be Adam's closest confidant.
Groomsman
Adam's older brother. Richard and his interests proved quite formative for Adam, influencing everything from his early taste in music (e.g. Oasis) to his interest in theatre, improvisation and Broadway. While their early upbringing was not always *harmonious*, they eventually fell into a more comfortable fraternal rhythm playing through old NES emulators of Final Fantasy together, where Richard could handle the fighting encounters, while the young Adam's deft spatial memory proved invaluable in navigating the world map. Richard is also the proud father of his two children (and therefore Adam's niece and nephew) Keira and Melvin. We're excited to celebrate with all of them!
Groomsman
Adam's younger brother. Fan of the Yankees, golfing, and the Cincinnati Bengals, AJ lives in Hoboken, where he works hard and plays hard. And if you encounter him at the wedding, I encourage you to trade your best stock tips with him. Growing up, they played many video games together. Some, like GTA San Andreas, were wildly inappropriate games to put in the hands of a toddler, but AJ was largely content to just drive around (not knowing the other features of the game). As he got older, however, he absolutely *loved* playing Star Wars Battlefront and engaging in relentless friendly fire on Adam, his brother and teammate. Let's hope he has grown out of that habit in time for the ceremony!

A friendship forged in Weinstein dining halls, where tangs of taste and jokes were deftly honed, and thirsts were quenched in myriad pub crawls, to pierce the air with laughter unintoned… How oft those peals deemed unappealing shrieks? Yet still we’d wield our jests so heartily, immune to sullen, spurious critiques; and draw instead our mirth so artfully In bars, he answers questions trivial, in verse, he authors sonnets whimsically, and e’er his airs are quite convivial, to draft pop songs from threads of poetry So though I ape my good friend’s style a bit, Think not but that I compliment his wit!
