FAQs

Questions? Always. Let's see if these help!
Question

What is the RSVP date?

Answer

Drop dead date is August 11th, however the earlier the better!

Question

What is the weather like in Sun Valley this time of year?

Answer

Weather throughout the day ranges with days being as warm as 70 degrees and nights dropping to 36 degrees. The key here is layers. You won't be outside much past sundown, but bringing at least one coat would be a good plan to ensure you can layer up when needed.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your children, the ceremony and reception is a 21 and up only event. For all other events, please bring the kiddos! Need a babysitter anytime during the weekend? We recommend contacting Sheila at Super Sitters. All of her girls are certified and can match sitters with special family needs or requests. Go to www.sunvalleysupersitters.com or call (208)-788-5080.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

For women formal dresses are recommended. For men, a suit and tie is encouraged.

Question

How do I get to the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will have shuttles running from 3 different locations starting at 4:45pm. The pickup locations will be chosen based upon the majority of where guests are staying. These shuttles will take you to the ceremony at Trail Creek Cabin where cocktail hour and the reception are located as well. Shuttles will start running back at 9:00pm, with the last shuttle leaving at 1:00am. Parking is also available if you prefer to drive.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Depends. If you are staying at a hotel that has a shuttle service, you shouldn't need one. Otherwise, we would suggest renting one as Ubers are limited.
