Brooke, aka "Kai" online is generally a huge nerd who enjoys gaming with her friends, whether it be online, a LAN party or board games. She also enjoys hiking and rock climbing with friends. Brooke spent seven years in the military, some of which was part time while starting to study. Her studies brought her to Japan where she lived for a year before moving back to Canada, before she met Jed and moved to the United States. She has a love for animals and cares deeply for her friends. Brooke is looking forward to inviting people from all over to celebrate the wedding of "Bread!"
Jed "Fuzzy" Menard
Groom
Jed, or "Fuzzy" as he goes by online, loves to hike, climb, game with his friends, and binge How I Met Your Mother an infinite amount of times. Born into a military family, Jed has lived in six different states, and briefly Japan and Canada (thanks, Brooke!). In all his travels, he has learned one truth above all: what matters most is not what you do or where you do it, but who you do it with. He feels blessed to have so many amazing friends and family to invite to his wedding.
Naia Newton
Maid of Honor
Naia is a huge D&D nerd and recently got married to her cool husband, Clancy. Together they have a couple of lovely fur children named Sage and Willow. She has known Brooke for a very long time.
Rachel Carlson
Best Man
The Best Man, Rachel met Jed in the fall of 2019 at the Mercury Café. Rachel and Jed's friendship blossomed through swing dancing - Jed became Rachel's first and finest friend in Colorado. She still enjoys dancing West Coast Swing at the Mercury Café. Popcorn and Trader Joes Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups are some of her favorite snacks. She also enjoys reading and rock climbing, and sip n' paints.
Alyssa Rumley

Alyssa is Brooke's oldest sister. The three sisters are total nerds, and have tri-force sisters tattoos to prove it. Alyssa enjoys playing video games, watching anime, gardening, drumming and sewing (especially cosplays for anime convention events). She lives in Kamloops with her awesome family - her husband, 3 year old son, dog and cat.
Ag Quezada

The first bio Ag gave: "I'm Jeds Long lost brother, thanks for coming to my Ted talk." The second bio Ag gave: "Ag has a beautiful wife, Lupe and 2 beautiful daughters, Adalee & Ailani. He is a union concrete laborer by trade, stripper by choice (just kidding mom). Jed is Ag's brother and Ag is very happy that he has found his soulmate."
Erica Crowe

Erica is Brooke's and Alyssa's middle sister. She strongly identifies as a middle child, and has many qualities of middle child syndrome. Erica enjoys hanging out with her sisters, playing board games and video games, binge watching unhealthy amounts of television, cooking, reading and making art. Erica also loves to camp with her husband, two chaos boys and crazy dog. She resides in Kamloops and yearns to travel far away from there.
Jordi Menard

Jordi has always been proud of his younger brother, Jed. From anime to Dungeons and Dragons, Jordi is a fantasy fanatic. He loves spending time with other people and anything that involves fresh air. Jordi lives in Fenton, Missouri, where he hopes to grow a flourishing backyard garden.
Jason Loveseth-Piper

Jason met Brooke while he was working at Coles, and they started talking due to a mutual love of manga. They became close friends when she invited him to her guild in World of Warcraft. Nowadays they game together almost every day, be it WoW, Deep Rock Galactic, or Stardew Valley. Jason likes manga, video games, all kinds of music, and kitchen experiments. (Brooke can attest, his gummies, eggnog, and chili oil are all amazing). Basically, he's a huge nerd.
Austin Leo

Austin was born and raised in a small town in Wyoming where he eventually moved on to attend the Colorado School of Mines. He and Jed became friends their senior year in the Comp Sci department after sharing their love of Overwatch and Taco Bell, and nearly every class together. Despite Austin's best attempts at scaring him, filling his Netflix recommendations with horror movies, and dragging him to watch anime, Jed has somehow still chosen to invite Austin to be a member of the wedding party.
Catherine Opper

Catherine and Brooke met in university a number of years ago and became fast friends. They share a love for video games, rock climbing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to name a few. Catherine has a long term partner named Johnny whom she has been with for 10 years and loves very much. Catherine and Brooke are total bad-asses and always have each others six.
Nick Hoffman
Groomsman
First and foremost, Nick likes popcorn and dark chocolate peanut butter cups from Trader Joe's more than anyone in the world. He rock climbs, dances, and loves a hearty adventure. He met Jed through dancing, and it would be fair to say he owes his dancing career to Jed's welcoming and kind presence bringing him back each week. He genuinely believes we are all living in the best possible timeline.
Taylor Apple

Taylor is the Guild Master(/Mother) and Raid Leader of the guild where Brooke and Jed met. She loves anime, manga, games, Star Trek, books, and is generally a top tier nerd. She has never met a combination of peanut butter and chocolate she didn't love. Besides being guild mother, she also has 4 kids and 2 fur babies with her husband of 12 years. She's so happy and honored to be a part of the wedding!
