Flight
The Denver International Airport (airport code DEN, colloquially known as DIA) is going to be the airport of choice for anyone flying in. Colorado has a handful of extremely small regional airports, but DIA is a top-notch international airport with high-quality service. Their security gates are always fast, and all of their terminals have good food and drink options. Additionally, the airport is connected to Denver's train system for ease of access! Note: to get between the airport and the hotel via train requires you to switch trains once in Denver's Central Station. It's a few blocks to walk, but there is an underground connection that you can use so you don't have to walk through Denver with your luggage.
Train
Denver has a fairly effective public transit system known as the RTD. The RTD's train system, known as the lightrail, covers most of Denver and the bigger suburbs, and their bus system covers most of the remainder of the area. Additionally, there is a train that goes out to the airport, so those who don't want to rent a car can take a cheaper route to get to the hotel!
Hotel
This hotel is the ideal hotel for our wedding. Unfortunately, it's about a 30 minute drive from the ceremony and reception site, but there aren't many good hotels that far into the mountains. Unfortunately, due to a lack of people booking at this location, we will no longer be hiring a shuttle service from this hotel. This hotel is also about one mile from the train station, which should make it easier to get to and from the airport. We have a discounted room rate for Friday and Saturday of $189/night. To get this discount, please call Stephanie Katz (she's very friendly and helpful!) at 205-799-1602 (for our international friends, let Brooke or Jed know and we'll call her for you :) )
Hotel
Table Mountain Inn is a lovely rustic hotel in the heart of Downtown Golden! It can be a bit more on the pricier side, but it is well worth it. While this is not our official recommendation of hotels, we would be remiss if we didn't at least mention this local favorite! If you stay here, you will not regret it :)
