Be sure to try to catch the sunrise at the top of Haleakala which requires reservations in advance. Yes, you have to be up around 3am for the trip. Yes, it's well-worth it. Thank us later.
The snorkeling in front of the Sheraton at Black Rock is wonderful. You might even spot a honu. If you're a daredevil like Jammie, you can jump off the rock, too!
You can't come to Hawaii without getting a shave ice. Get ice cream on the bottom and condensed milk over the top, and we promise you won't be disappointed. You might even see Ululani's at our wedding. ;-)
Download a map and make sure to stop at some of the waterfalls, grab some banana bread, and check out the black sand beach and Seven Sacred Pools. Warning: Do not do this hungover and most rental car insurance companies will not cover any trips to Hana.
This is our favorite luau in Maui. We highly recommend visiting for first-timers to Hawaii. Make sure to book in advance, but if you don't and the date is sold out, call and get on the wait list for a date while you're on the island.
This is our favorite beach in Maui. It's great for snorkeling or just relaxing.
Think Korean BBQ, but the pancake version! Build your own pancakes - it's fun for adults and kids!
The. Best. Breakfast. Ever. Get the mac nut pancakes and the fried rice. Make sure to get there early (there is a line before they open). Better yet, call and order take out when they open and head a mile or so up the road to eat on the beach.
