The ceremony and reception will both be held outside.
Our wedding is by invitation only. We want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, so we can only accommodate those included on your invitation. Our guest list has also been significantly trimmed down due to Hawaii's Covid restrictions.
No, we are not. Your presence at our wedding is our present! We set up a honeymoon fund under our registry tab for anyone who wishes to contribute. Please know nothing is expected, and we appreciate you for making the trip to share our special day with us.
Our wedding is beach dressy. Feel free to wear comfortable khakis and linen or Hawaiian shirts, or jumpsuits and dresses. Stilettos may not be the best idea as a lot of the night will be spent on the lawn.
Due to Hawaii's ongoing Covid restrictions, we had to limit children at the wedding. We can only include our own boys, the kids of those in the bridal party, and the kids of our siblings. We are so sorry for the inconvenience, but welcome you to bring your children to the welcome gathering if you wish. If you need childcare arrangements for the wedding, please contact us and we will try to help research childcare on island with our wedding planner.
We highly recommend researching the Covid travel restrictions implemented by Hawaii. These are constantly changing. Currently, people must quarantine for 10 days upon arrival to Maui, unless you show proof that you are fully vaccinated or test negative for Covid before arrival. You will need to set up an account through the State to upload your vaccination card or negative test results before you land on Maui to avoid the 10-day quarantine. Please visit https://travel.hawaii.gov/ for up to date travel restrictions.
That may very well happen. We are planning to get married regardless of the Covid limitations come March. We highly recommend everyone book refundable lodging and airfare in the event more limitations are imposed. As of right now (January 2022), there are not masks required for outdoor events, but we encourage you to socially distance and wear a mask if you’d like.
Absolutely! We will have an open bar with our signature alcoholic beverages, beer, and wine. We will also have non-alcoholic beverages. We encourage you to bring a little cash to tip the bartenders. :-) party accordingly.
Yes, there is limited parking available for about 30 vehicles. We encourage using Uber, Lyft, or a taxi so you can enjoy yourself. If you drive to the venue and need to take a Lyft or Uber back to your hotel, you just need to pick up your car from the venue by 10am the next morning.
