How did we meet?

The first at bat...

We may or may not have lied to you in the past and said we met at a bar....but now the truth must come out! While it may be embarrassing to admit, we are a tinder success story! Adrian claims to this day that he joined tinder looking for a softball teammate. Uh huh...In any event, he found one! Baseball was our first love and our first connection. Our SECOND date was on the softball field down the street from Aunty Karen’s house. Our FIRST date was at Brittany’s second home, the Exploratorium. We’ve been nerding out and playing sports together ever since. #STEMteachers4lyfe

What happened next?

Full count...

We got an ADORABLE (and now slightly pudgy) French bulldog who changed our life. Cosmo was born on April 24, 2019 and has been such a huge part of our lives. Check out some adorable photos of him on this page. His mom, sister, and niece live with his godmother Alisa and we go to visit them all the time. A+B became A+B=C! The first time we took Cosmo onto a baseball field in Alameda, he shagged all the balls for us! It turns out he’s just as obsessed with baseball as we are. Cosmo has taught us a lot about parenting and unconditional love :)

How did he do it?

Bases loaded, bottom of the 9th...

We started the day off like any other, playing catch. Brittany loves her evening walks, so Adrian offered to take her on one. She went on to make it difficult, as usual, and insisted on bringing the dogs. After about 30 minutes of Adrian sweating and Brittany getting ready for the walk, we left for El Estero Lake. Wedged between the Frank E. Sollecito Ballpark where her dad used to play baseball, the dance studio where she found her love for dance, and San Carlos Church where she would eventually be married, Adrian got down on one knee and proposed to Brittany. It was a very private moment with just the two of us. Brittany did her weird laugh-crying while Cosmo and Lexi tried to eat the geese....and their poop. Immediately after, we walked to all the important places connected to the lake - the Church, the ballpark, the dance studio. Our last stop on the walk was to see Brittany’s obachan. She was the first person we told! We’re both so grateful for the memories our family and friends have shared with us and we can’t wait to make more with you in the future! Hope to see you for the big game day!
