Maid of Honor
Jess and I met in class, but bonded over our love for helping the community. She lead's with her heart, and is one of the kindest humans I know. When you spend time with Jess you know there will be laughter, wine, and doggy snuggles.
Best Man
We first met way back in the 3rd grade. One rainy day of indoor recess and Pokemon was all it took before I knew I had met my best friend. I always looked up to Dave growing up, I was this shy kid that barely talked and then there's Dave who is an incredibly friendly person that can make anyone laugh. He's the kind of guy that can meet a new group of people and by the end of the night they are all good friends. Sadly we didn't go to the same college, but even the distance between Rhode Island and Vermont couldn't keep us apart. I couldn't think of anyone else to be the best man at my wedding.
Bridesmaid
Kirstie is a boss babe originally hailing from New Jersey. She is honest, direct, intelligent and a fierce and loyal friend. Kirstie is my friend I turn to for advice and solace. I'm so grateful that I have her in my corner, and I know she'll always be there.
Groomsman
Sam and I lived right across the hall from each other during college. We didn't really know each other at first, but then one day Sam asked me, "Have you ever played Halo?" and we were instantly friends. That year there were many late nights crowded around TV screens playing Halo ODST firefight. Sam is the ultimate Anime and Godzilla nerd, ask him anything about those subjects and he could go on for hours.
Bridesmaid
Kara was my first college roommate. We instantly got along and bonded over guitar hero, buffy the vampire slayer, and all things cheesy. She is strong, creative, nurturing, and patient. All skills she now has to use to manage a house with 4 young children and a business. Also to note without her romantic connection to Greg's good friend Matt, Greg and I would probably have never met. So ya, she's kind of a big deal!
Groomsman
Matt and I met when we started college and lived in the same dorm. We were both pretty quiet but as soon as we started talking about snowboarding and video games our friendship grew. Some of my favorite memories are all the longboarding adventures we would go on. We would go out for late night sessions and explore Burlington to find the biggest hills to cruise down.
Bridesmaid
Haley and I met while teaching at the Y. We really became friends, however, over our love for throwing and attending theme parties. Haley is incredibly creative and I've always been blown away by the cool costumes she creates. Although she is an introvert, like myself, she's bold, fun-loving, and the best person to dance on the table with!
Groomsman
Steve is the punniest man I know. We met back during our freshman year of college, but didn't know each too well until we ended up in the same dorm room sophmore year. The beginning of our friendship was filled with many late nights of Jagermeister and killing zombies. After college we both continued to live in Burlington where we continued our late night gaming sessions, friend potlucks and "running" Tough Mudder each year.
Bridesmaid
Sydney was my co-teacher when I taught preschool in Burlington, VT. She is my fellow turtle, and wise, kind friend. She is very well grounded, and taught me to love and appreciate the Earth and small moments of joy throughout the day. While Sydney is a very chill person, she is also incredibly ambitious! She just finished her Master's degree in education, and bought/fixed up her first house (where did I mention she's also a landlord). I feel so lucky to have this incredible lady in my life.
Groomsman
Danny and I met when we lived in the same dorm room sophmore year. At first we hung out occasionally playing video games but as time went on we became very close friends. He is an incredible cook, and some of my favorite memories with him are when he would visit us in Burlington, VT. Every time he came we would share a new recipe with us, and we'd take the time for all of use to make dinner together. Over the years this became a tradition for us.
Bridesmaid
Krys and I met because of the men in our life, but independently became friends in our own right, because of how welcoming and funny Krystal is. Krystal is the kind of person that goes above and beyond to make you feel heard and included. She's sassy and sarcastic and unapologetically bold. She works incredibly hard at graduate school, yet always tries to make time for a night for goofy fun and sangria with good friends. Plus you can't help but smile, when you hear her signature laugh.
Groomsman
Conor and I met during our first year of college in one of our computer classes. We didn't know each other too well that first year, but then during our junior year we both decided to study abroad. Conor went to Ireland, and I went to Italy. During Spring break Conor came to Rome and we spent everyday enjoying the cheesiest gnocchi, filled our glasses with wine and explored the ancient ruins of Rome together.
Bridesmaid
When I was 15 my life was forever changed for the better, when my baby sister Bella was born. I've watched her grow into such an intelligent, sweet, and witty young woman. She is a huge bookworm and gives the best book advice. Because of her love for the written word, she has become a linguistic ninja, able to slay any crossword or word game around. Beyond her intelligence is her natural kind nature; always offering to sacrifice, so others will benefit. I know she is the younger sister, but as she grows I find she teaches me new things all the time!
Groomsman
I didn't meet this beautiful red head until senior year of college. Nick is a world-class bacon and whisky connoisseur. Over the years our friendship grew by bonding over video games, food and whisky.
Bridesmaid
I'm over the moon, that De is my official new sister. From the moment I met Deanna, I know we would get along. She is kind, funny, thoughtful, and incredibly driven. I'm so impressed with the hard work and determination she's shown on her path to becoming a veterinarian. Although selfishly, I'm ready for her to be done with school, because I miss her sarcasm and conversation during family dinners.
Groomsman
Paul and I met in 6th grade at good ol' Sacred Heart High School. Both big video game players we quickly became close friends with many sleepovers where all we did was play Tales of Symphonia. One of my favorite memories with Paul was during this giant snowstorm in high school where we had the entire week off of school. I ended up spending the entire week over Paul's, every day we would go out sledding in his yard and then play video games until our eyes were bleeding.
