Guest Ferry to Star Island (leaves from Rye)

It is usually at least 10-15 degrees cooler offshore than it is on land, so it is better to dress in layers, and bring one more layer than you think you need. If you are prone to motion sickness it is best to take medication before departure. Safe social distancing is required onboard.

Welcome Wagon

Lime-rickies and welcome snacks on the front porch, and a quick island orientation before the ceremony begins.

Ceremony

3:30 pm

Island Overlook

Beach Formal Attire: Sundresses, linen shirts, light colors, sun hats, etc. We highly encourage flat, comfortable shoes because of the rocky terrain and ceremony set up. There will be seating for those who prefer to sit! We'll be sharing our vows at our favorite spot with friend and officiant Stephen Jablonski.

Cocktail Hour

4:00 pm

Oceanic Hotel

Interactive games, signature cocktails, yummy appetizers, and fabulous live music from Wolverine Jazz Band.

Dinner

5:30 pm

Harborside

A delicious meal prepared by Mezzanine Catering. It will be a staff served buffet, however, please give us your food preferences so we have enough of what everyone loves! For our main dinner, we will have.... Appetizers: Antipasto Platter, Arracini Balls, Bruschetta, Bacon Wrapped Dates Starter course:: Mixed Greens with Strawberries, Cucumbers, Feta, Toasted Pecans with Blush Vinaigrette, and Housemade Artisan Breads with Butter Meats::Sage & Prosciutto Chicken Saltimbocca, Short Ribs Vegan/Vegetarian:: Pasta Primavera with a Garlic Vegan "Cream" Sauce Sides::Grilled Asparagus, Whipped Potatoes

Enjoy a nice complimentary breakfast and coffee at the main hotel. Trust me there's something magical about rocking on the front porch of the hotel, sipping coffee with a light sea breeze. Then board the ferry for your 30 min return ride to Rye.
