Bridget and Owen met on a dating app (Hinge, so it was classy), but they had no clue what was in store. Their first date during the first "end" to Covid in the summer of 2020, completely changed the course of both their lives. Outdoor music, a few drinks, and fried zucchini sticks (Bridget is a pescatarian, not quite a deal-breaker for Owen), followed by an all-night conversation over a bottle of tequila sealed the deal. Owen quickly fell head over heels for Bridget, who naturally took a few weeks to be really sure that she loved Owen too. Their love came easily, and quickly, with the pair moving in together almost right away as the pandemic endured. Bridget and Owen found their peace in each other, in their friends and families, and later on, in their travels around the world. Along with their fur-baby Nala (AKA the sweetest cat in the world), they have created a loving and enduring home, even when separated by 6 time zones while Bridget was in grad school. From the Lehigh Valley to Madrid, from Quito to Montreal, from San Diego to Warsaw, Bridget and Owen have journeyed through the world and through life, rediscovering their love for each other in newer and deeper ways. After a whirlwind proposal in Greece and some well-deserved relaxation back in the states, Bridget and Owen will tie the knot in Dubrovnik, Croatia a little over 6 years since that fateful first date in Easton.
