Things To Do

If you’re coming in from out of town, we encourage you to stay in Brooklyn and make a weekend of it! Our favorite borough is a little quieter than Manhattan, but filled with things to see and do. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Prospect Park

Brooklyn, NY

We love this park year round, but have a soft spot for its foliage displays in the fall. It’s also where we got engaged in December 2023!

Brooklyn Museum

200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11238

A stunning museum with a huge selection of classic and modern art, located right on the edge of Prospect Park.

Sea Witch

703 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Where we had our first date! Big beer selection and solid bar food with a fun nautical vibe.

Travel Bar

520 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231

We were lucky to live a ten minute walk from this place for four years, and still go back often. Impressive whiskey selection and great cocktails.

Luigi's Pizza

686 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Our favorite place in the borough for a New York slice. Cash only.

Court Street Grocers

485 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY 11231

Our go-to sandwich spot! The menu is huge and you really can't go wrong, but our favorites are the Italian and Vegitalian Combos, Ollie, Turkish Delight, and Clean Turkey.

Bagel Pub

Mutiple Locations, Brooklyn, NY

Looking for a great New York bagel? This will do the job. Good coffee too!

Al Di La

248 5th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11215

We first came here together to celebrate our six month dating anniversary, and have been back for many date nights since! It's always perfect.
