Yes, we would love for your children to experience Maine and for you to do so as a family. However, we want you to be able to kick back, relax, and celebrate with us, which is why the cocktail hour, reception and after-party have been decided to be an adults-only event. We would love for the kids to come to the other events such as the Welcome Party, ceremony and after wedding brunch! The venue is kid-friendly, has many rooms to accommodate multiple people including babysitters or in-laws who could join you, to watch the kids while you enjoy yourselves. Also, a recommended babysitter's contact information can be provided upon request and it is common for this babysitter to watch over many children on-site during the reception. Please inquire with Matt and Sarah if you'd like the contact information.
Yes! Newagen Seaside Inn has plenty of parking, as does the church.
We would love for everyone to make a weekend out of it in the Boothbay region! There is so much to do in the area (there are lots of recommendations on the 'Things to Do' tab on this website) that 3 days couldn't cover it all, even without wedding festivities! So feel free to come early, stay later - make it a long or extra long weekend trip in Vacationland, if you can. The bride and groom will be arriving days early so be sure to let us know! There will be events on Friday and Sunday, as well - so please don't rush out of town if you can help it. We'd love to keep the party going.
