What exactly is cocktail attire?

Answer

As a guideline, cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, sport coats, slacks and suits are all considered cocktail attire. What is most important to us is that you feel comfortable, so wear what makes the most sense for you.

Should I bring my dancing (and walking) shoes?

Answer

Yes and yes! We want to see you on the dance floor after dinner. Also, our ceremony will take place on a small hill with a dirt path. Please take that into consideration when selecting your shoes for the evening. Better yet, bring a pair of flats for the short walk (and for dancing later) so you don't have to sacrifice style for comfort!

What is the weather like in SLO in November?

Answer

It may be sunny, it may be cloudy, hopefully the rain will save itself for another day. Temperatures are typically in the low 50 to high 60 degree range. We will have heat lamps for the outdoor cocktail hour, but please consider dressing in layers.

Will shuttle services be offered to and from the venue?

Answer

We want you to enjoy a carefree evening of celebration! A shuttle from The Cliffs hotel and Courtyard by Marriott to Spreafico Farms and back will be provided. 2:15pm - Shuttle will depart from the Courtyard Marriott hotel to go to Spreafico Farms 2:45pm - Shuttle will depart from The Cliffs hotel to go to Spreafico Farms 8:05pm - Shuttle will depart Spreafico Farms and drop guests off at The Cliffs and the Courtyard Marriott 9:10pm - Shuttle will depart Spreafico Farms and drop guests off at The Cliffs and the Courtyard Marriott 10:15pm - Shuttle will depart Spreafico Farms and drop guests off at The Cliffs, the Courtyard Marriott, and Downtown SLO for those who want to keep the night going

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes. There is ample parking at Spreafico Farms. The parking lot is right off of Orcutt Road so it is easy to spot. We will have a sign out on the road that says "Wedding Parking" with an arrow pointing towards the driveway so you know where to enter.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We know this can be a challenge at large events. Please indicate your specific allergy or preference (and the name of the guest to whom it relates) when you RSVP and we will do everything we can to accommodate your needs.

The invitation was addressed to me only. Can I bring a date?

Answer

Absolutely. If you are bringing a date, please include their name when you RSVP.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we would like to keep this celebration as formal as possible. If you are able to make arrangements for child care, we sure would appreciate it. If that is not possible, your child(ren) is welcome to join you at our celebration. Please include their name(s) and age(s) when you RSVP.

Why SLO?

Answer

We looked at countless venues in Southern and Northern California before coming across a picture of the old oak tree at Spreafico Farms with the sprawling hills in the background. For the first time, Sean was actually moved by a venue. We knew we found our spot! We know how busy life can be and appreciate your willingness to travel to celebrate with us! We also understand if circumstances are such that you are unable to join us in SLO.
