There are three cities you can fly into: Leon (BJX: Bajio International Airport), Queretaro (QRO: Queretaro International Airport) or Mexico City (MEX: Mexico City International Airport). When shopping for flights, we recommend you look into both BJX and QRO. Leon and Queretaro are both a 90-minute shuttle drive to San Miguel’s City Center. (more details on shuttle below), with Mexico City a 4-hour shuttle drive to San Miguel. Volaris is the secret low-cost airline that flies direct to Leon (BJX). You can find direct flights from Chicago, Oakland, LAX, San Jose, and Sacramento. Once your flights are booked, be sure to schedule your shuttle service to/from the airport. A discount code is available and shuttles must be scheduled in advance. Details available in the "Shuttle to/from Airport" tab.

Queretaro International Airport (QRO)

Queretaro International Airport is 1:15 hrs from San Miguel, and provides direct flights from Dallas, Detroit, Chicago and Houston.

Bajio International Airport (BJX)

Bajio International Airport is 1:30 hrs from San Miguel, and provides direct flights from Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and Houston.

Mexico City International Airport (MEX)

Mexico City International Airport is located 3:45 hrs from San Miguel. If you are planning on spending additional time and visiting Mexico City, you can fly through MEX and book a private charter to San Miguel.

While most of our loved ones are coming from Los Angeles, Texas, New York City and Washington DC, we know that many of you are coming from elsewhere! Most likely, you will be able to find non-stop flights to Mexico City or indirect flights to Leon (BJX) or Queretaro (QRO). We know San Miguel is not the most convenient place to get to, so please reach out to Kathy, Lauren, Nick, Matt or Laurie if you need advice about what to book!
