Festive Cocktail Attire: Women - Formal cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, sleek separates. Men - Suit and Jacket, no tie. Please no shorts or sandals. San Miguel is colorful & fun - feel free to show it in your clothes!

Ceremony & Reception

Join us at the Instituto de Allende for the Wedding Ceremony followed by Cocktail Hour & formal Reception. The Instituto is an 18th century private home turned into an arts school located in the heart of San Miguel. Cocktail Hour will be held in the central courtyard, with the Reception held in the exterior courtyard featuring sweeping views of San Miguel and the Parroquia.

Elegant Resort Formal Attire/ Black Tie Optional: A step above resort evening, with this dress code, men are expected to wear a suit jacket, tie, long-sleeve dress shirt with slacks and dress shoes—no shorts, t-shirts, or sandals. Women are welcome to wear long skirts and maxi dresses. We are in beautiful & vibrant Mexico, have fun with it! If you know Lauren, you know she loves color color color! Guests are also encouraged to wear appropriate footwear for walking around San Miguel’s cobblestone streets and plazas. For women, we highly recommend wearing sandals or wedges.
