If none of the discount options appeal to you, here are more places to stay within the Northstar Property! All of these options are still within walking or shuttle distance to the wedding, but you will not receive our wedding discount.
Shuttle
August 22, 2021 1:00 pm - 11:00 pm
A shuttle to and from the Village will be available to anyone staying at one of the Northstar locations. There is NO Uber/Lyft in the Tahoe area! On our wedding day, this shuttle will be your transportation to our wedding. We have extended the shuttle to run until 1am for our guests the night of our wedding! Once you arrive at the Village, you will follow signs to the Big Springs Express Gondola. This Gondola will take you up the mountain to our wedding ceremony and reception! Also, during your stay, you can take this free shuttle to the Village whenever you like! *There is also parking available for anyone who chooses to drive the wedding.
Flight
From this airport, it is a 45 min drive to the Northstar property! We highly suggest renting a car to get to Northstar if you are flying into the area.
Flight
This airport is a bit further away, but will still work if the price is right. A rental car will be required from this location.
Travel Note
No matter where you're coming from, we recommend arriving Friday or Saturday. Not only will this give you peace of mind, but it will give you a chance to enjoy this incredible area. All of these travel and accommodation options are just suggestions! You are free to choose your own adventure! Just keep in mind, the Lake Tahoe area is quite large. If you choose to stay elsewhere, please be aware of these traveling times to Northstar Village. From the Truckee area, allow approximately 15 - 20 minutes. From North Lake Tahoe, allow at least 25 - 35 minutes and from South Lake Tahoe allow at least 60 to 90 minutes.
