I was working in Atlanta for the summer. There I met an incredibly good-looking girl named Izzy, who was working as a chaperone. After giving her my business card hoping she'd read between the lines, I had zero success. I decided to ask her out, time, and time again. Eventually, after recalibrating my ego, she agreed to go to coffee with me. I have never had an easier conversation in my life. We starting talking about music; discussing our favorite artists and the best concerts we had been to. After taking off at 100 miles per hour, the summer came quickly to an end. When we said goodbye at the airport, I knew even then that this girl was something more to me than a new friend. We tried not talking in the fall with little success. Fast forward to January, I signed a contract with a company in Wisconsin, only a couple hours away from where Izzy was living in Illinois. Once I arrived in the Midwest, Izzy came out and visited me. I knew then we had to be together, even though I didn't know how it was possible. One week later in Chicago, Izzy and I became "official". My life has been better in every way since this day. -Adam
We were taking a much needed vacation after our usual crazy Nutcracker season to Europe. Adam, normally the calm one whenever we travel together, was getting overly stressed at the amount of times our bags were being searched at security. I should have realized then something was up. He somehow made it through an entire week of us together in Germany until our first day in Paris. Upon arrival in Paris he was very adamant we head straight for the Eiffel Tower. I just figured he was excited to finally see what all the fuss was about. It wasn't until we were under the Eiffel Tower and he reached into his pocket that it finally hit me! I, of course, said yes! I mean, a proposal in Paris? Not much more a girl could ask for. -Izzy
Canceling our 2020 wedding was a very difficult, but necessary decision. We want to thank all our friends and family for your continued support. At the end of the day, we could not imagine a wedding without all our loved ones there to toast with champagne, party with on the dance floor, and share our happiness. We both sincerely hope everyone will be able to attend our new date and are here to help make the process as easy as possible for everyone! Also, you can bet that after another year's worth of planning, this wedding is going to be a party worth waiting for :) - Izzy & Adam
